If you would like to be Welcomer then speak to any member of the Welcome Team on a Sunday. They are easily identifiable in red sashes. The Welcome Team is really important, its the first face of St Werburgh’s to a newcomer and we take offering hospitality very seriously.
All our services need people who are ‘good with people’ to be attentive to the needs of everyone who comes through the doors. Welcomers offer information, help people find seating that works for them and explain to newcomers what to expect.
